Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE] · Sahyog Foundation
By using sahyog.info ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. Sahyog Foundation ("Sahyog", "we") is a registered charitable organization in India.
1. What Sahyog Does
Sahyog operates a donation platform connecting donors with verified fundraising campaigns and partner NGOs. We facilitate payment processing, issue tax receipts under Section 80G where eligible, and — for NGO partners — provide branded micro-sites. Sahyog does not guarantee the outcome of any campaign and is not a party to the underlying charitable activity itself.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law to donate, create a campaign, or register an NGO on the Platform. Donations are currently accepted from within India only.
3. Donations
All donations are voluntary and, except as described in our Refund Policy, non-refundable. Sahyog issues an 80G tax receipt for eligible donations; the donor is responsible for claiming the deduction correctly under Indian Income Tax law. Recurring donations continue automatically until cancelled by the donor.
4. Fundraisers and Campaigns
Anyone submitting a campaign confirms that the information provided is accurate and that funds raised will be used for the stated purpose. All campaigns are reviewed before going live and may be rejected, suspended, or removed at Sahyog's discretion — including after donations have been received, if fraud or misrepresentation is discovered.
Fundraisers must complete KYC verification before requesting a payout of raised funds.
5. NGO Partners
Partner NGOs using the branded micro-site feature must hold valid 12A and 80G registration and are solely responsible for the accuracy of information on their branded page. Sahyog reserves the right to suspend any NGO account pending verification of registration documents.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay (donations) and Cashfree (payouts), both RBI-authorized payment aggregators. Sahyog does not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials. Platform fees, if any, are disclosed at the time of donation.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to raise funds under false pretences, to launder money, or to circumvent Indian foreign contribution regulations (FCRA). Sahyog currently accepts domestic donations only.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sahyog provides the Platform "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sahyog is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, campaign outcomes, or third-party payment processor issues beyond our reasonable control.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [CITY], India.
